Turn5 is dedicated to creating exceptional customer experiences through unique products, educational content, and community engagement. The E-commerce Technical Project Manager is a key role responsible for enhancing the customer experience across Turn5’s e-commerce websites. This position involves close collaboration with E-commerce, IT, Research, UX, and Development teams to define, scope, and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and clear expectations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, results-driven professional skilled in technology, data, and product management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working with business and technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous software and web development experience.
  • Experience with end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Direct experience with ecommerce platforms and related technology.
  • Strong multi-tasking, time management, and project management skills.
  • Experience writing requirements for development teams (Product Backlog Items, User Stories, bugs, etc.).
  • Ability to delegate tasks with clear direction regarding timelines, requirements, and expectations for quality or format.
  • Ability to assess project risks and exercise good judgment in the degree of oversight, QA, or partnership required to achieve results.
  • Ability to manage several projects at once.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with JIRA, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage personal workload effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities, required for effective collaboration across all organizational levels including cross-functional teams and upper management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end technical ecommerce projects, including SEO and shopping cart initiatives, from scoping and planning through delivery and post-launch analysis.
  • Coordinate with development, IT, product, and UX/design teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet specifications.
  • Document requirements and user stories with clarity and precision.
  • Identify and proactively resolve project blockers through cross-functional or internal team alignment.
  • Partner with stakeholders and the analysis team to define success metrics and support the tracking of ecommerce feature performance post-launch.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments, translating business needs into actionable roadmaps.
  • Maintain stakeholder transparency by creating and communicating detailed timelines, dependencies, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, analysts, and manager to prioritize the backlog based on data insights, customer feedback, and business value.
  • Contribute to A/B testing strategy and ensure test learnings are integrated into the development cycle.
