About The Position

The goal of the Brand E-Commerce Manager is to manage the brand website and channel performance to maximize conversion and increase customer satisfaction through a better shopping experience. Working closely with Brand Merchandising, Planning, Technology, and Creative Services, the Brand E-Commerce Manager is responsible for the digital and online consumer experience. They are tasked with channel management across owned channels, such as email and SMS, and assist with paid channels (Meta, Google, etc.) while partnering with the Site Merchandising and Planning teams to ensure a smooth shopping experience. A strong understanding of web business concepts, practices, and procedures is required. Entrepreneurship, leadership, and creative thinking are necessary.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree, master’s degree
  • 3-5 years E-commerce experience and thorough understanding of online retailing.
  • Strong analytic skills and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of web design and usability.
  • Demonstrated presentation, verbal, and written skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong teamwork skills, ability to listen, contribute as a positive and solution-oriented team player.
  • Ability to think creatively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and report out on overall site and brand performance, including delving into channel performance identifying opportunities and wins
  • Manage relationship with Paid Marketing agency and the uploading of creative assets in their tracker.
  • Actively monitor Paid marketing performance on ad and campaign level and partner with Director of Ecommerce on Paid Social and Paid Search strategy.
  • Create email strategies for each month, complete with send times, topics, and segments.
  • Brief out creative requests for creative team (for both Paid, Email, and SMS channels) drawing on insights from performance trends.
  • Assist in bottoms-up business planning activities from the digital perspective
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Inventory Control, and Creative Services to develop brand driven emails, home page and department landing page presentations, and editorials to drive key products, trends, and themes that support business initiatives.
  • Make recommendations based on data analysis and usability tests and to improve the usability of the site as well as the customer experience to optimize conversion.
  • Work closely with the online technology team to define requirements for functionality development and perform User Acceptance Testing.
  • Work cross-functionally with Merchandising and Planning team to ensure pricing and site merchandise are correctly set up for optimized marketing channel performance.
  • Perform external analysis of industry trends in online merchandising, competitor initiatives, and consumer needs through primary and secondary research methods.
  • Represent marketing and website needs in cross functional calendar reviews. Clearly stating what’s worked, what creative needs are and any industry trends to be aware of for optimized website performance.
  • Identify business opportunities and risks through analyzing sales and marketplace information.
