About The Position

Spirit Electronics is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and technically capable E-Commerce Specialist to manage and support the day-to-day operations of Spirit Electronics’ online shopping cart and e-commerce platform. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate, functional, and customer-friendly online purchasing experience while ensuring product information, pricing, inventory availability, documentation, fulfillment, and order information are properly maintained. The E-Commerce Specialist will work cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Marketing, Accounting, Quality, and IT to ensure Spirit’s online storefront accurately represents available products and provides customers with a seamless purchasing experience. Spirit Electronics’ online shopping cart provides an opportunity to make inventory more accessible to customers, simplify the purchasing process, generate new sales opportunities, and expand Spirit’s digital presence. The E-Commerce Specialist will serve as the primary internal owner of this channel, ensuring the platform is not only maintained accurately but continuously developed into a meaningful revenue-generating tool for the organization. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with large amounts of product and pricing data and interested in helping grow Spirit Electronics’ digital sales channel.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in e-commerce, online merchandising, digital sales, website administration, product management, sales operations, or a related field preferred.
Experience managing an online shopping cart, e-commerce platform, or product catalog preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working with large product or pricing datasets.
Experience with ERP, CRM, inventory management, or product information management systems preferred.
Ability to learn semiconductor and electronic component product terminology, manufacturers, and part-number structures.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with pricing, inventory, product specifications, and customer orders.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret online sales and customer activity data.

Nice To Haves

Experience within the semiconductor, electronic components, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
Experience with electronic component catalogs or large SKU/part-number databases.
Familiarity with ERP-to-e-commerce transactions.
Experience with B2B e-commerce environments.
Familiarity with online payment processing, shipping integrations, and sales tax functionality.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operation and maintenance of Spirit Electronics’ online shopping cart and e-commerce platform.
Work with Marketing to add, update, and maintain online product listings, including part numbers, manufacturers, descriptions, pricing, quantities, lead times, product specifications, and supporting documentation.
Ensure product information displayed online is accurate, current, and consistent with internal systems.
Monitor online inventory availability and coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing to address discrepancies.
Review and process orders generated through the online shopping cart and ensure orders are properly routed for fulfillment.
Monitor the customer purchasing experience from product search through checkout and identify opportunities to improve usability.
Coordinate with internal teams to establish which products and inventory should be available for online purchase.
Assist with establishing and maintaining online pricing based on approved pricing strategies and internal guidelines.
Audit product listings regularly for inaccurate pricing, inventory, descriptions, broken links, duplicate products, or missing information.
Assist customers with online ordering questions and coordinate more technical product inquiries with the appropriate Sales or Engineering personnel.
Identify customer inquiries, quote opportunities, and other online activity that may represent potential sales opportunities.
Convert appropriate online inquiries into qualified opportunities.
Maintain accurate records related to online orders, customers, products, pricing, and website activity.
Assist with integrating e-commerce activity with Spirit’s ERP, CRM, inventory, payment, shipping, and other business systems.
Work with Marketing to monitor website and shopping cart performance and provide reporting on online sales, order volume, conversion activity, popular products, customer activity, and other key metrics.
Recommend enhancements to improve the online customer experience and increase e-commerce sales.
Ensure online product content complies with applicable company requirements and quality standards.
