About The Position

As an e-Commerce Specialist supporting the Aftermarket Parts business, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall product catalog on NCS’s e-commerce platform by ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information (e.g., descriptions, primary and secondary part numbers, weights and dimensions), prices, visuals and manuals. Additionally, you will lead the redevelopment and ongoing maintenance of all written communication elements related to the end-to-end e-Commerce customer journey, such as ‘Account Creation’, ‘Part Order Creation’, ‘Order Shipment & Tracking’ and similar types of confirmations emails. Successful candidates will be tech-savvy, detail oriented and enjoy constantly going back and forth between the online and physical worlds (i.e., online store vs. warehouse), with the ability to react and multitask in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of Car Wash Parts & Components.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor, and capable of successfully working cross-functionally.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects related to online catalog maintenance and development of customer confirmation emails.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including: Past exposure to ERP and/or e-Commerce platforms, Gmail (Email, Chat) and Google Suite (i.e., Sheets, Slides, Groups), MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), namely in analyzing and manipulating data
  • Familiarity with photo editing tools for basic image editing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive, positive, resourceful attitude.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional responsibilities (as needed).
  • Maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
  • Perform the responsibilities of the position at a satisfactory performance level.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain online Parts catalog, including new and existing parts, part families, product descriptions, alternate part numbers, prices, and attributes (e.g., manuals).
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of SKU attributes across the entire online catalog (5K+ Parts), such as UPC and UNSPSC codes, Weights and Dimensions and Units of Measure.
  • Upload and manage product images, ensuring high quality and compelling visuals.
  • Verify product information against source documents or suppliers to ensure accuracy.
  • Write compelling product descriptions that highlight key features and benefits.
  • Maintain consistency in tone and branding across all product descriptions and content.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to recommend pricing adjustments.
  • Conduct regular audits of product listings to identify and correct errors/inconsistencies.
  • Develop, in partnership with Marketing and IT, visually appealing and informative order confirmation emails to enhance the pre- and post-purchase customer experience.
