E-Commerce Quality Specialist
About The Position
Licking-Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking an E-Commerce Quality Specialist for their Goodwill2Go location in Newark, Ohio. This role involves sorting incoming merchandise to determine its suitability for online sale, inspecting items for quality, condition, authenticity, completeness, and functionality, and testing electronics to ensure they have necessary accessories. The specialist will also identify shipping methods, prepare pre-shipment areas, research unfamiliar products for accurate identification and categorization, and determine the appropriate online listing category. Merchandise that is damaged, counterfeit, incomplete, or unsuitable will be removed from the online sales process. The position requires maintaining consistent quality standards to reduce customer returns and improve customer satisfaction, as well as the ability to control inventory. Additionally, the specialist will confirm that merchandise matches customer orders before shipment and help maintain shipping supplies and keep the shipping area clean and organized.
Requirements
- Frequently standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
- Have the physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and reach as required to complete the job.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Employers conduct pre-employment drug screens which include THC and background check.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of digital photography & editing programs a plus
- Packing & shipping experience preferred.
