About The Position

At Banks, we don’t bolt on parts, we engineer complete systems from the crankshaft out. We’ve been doing it since 1958; setting records, winning championships, and building engines the U.S. military trusts. We're looking for a self-driven E-commerce Specialist to join our Marketing team. You will be collaborating with our internal teams to ensure product information on Banks' E-commerce platform is accurate and current, and is presented in a way that encourages purchases.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in E-commerce; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to use data management tools to review, validate, and maintain accurate product data
  • Strong writing skills, and excellent written and verbal communication
  • A good understanding of automotive terminology, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand content for consumers
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with the ability to create basic mockups
  • Highly responsible, self-motivated and ability to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment. Take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Shopify and WordPress knowledge is a plus
  • Working knowledge of HTML and Google Analytics is preferred
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred
  • Experience photographing products for e-commerce, marketing, or digital content is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update all sales related E-commerce tasks, including but not limited to product images, pricing, details, availability, etc
  • Ensure web content is quality checked and adhere to company standards
  • Regularly update product listings as information evolves or fitment years grow
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Inventory, etc) to build new product pages
  • Analyze consumer behavior and competitor e-commerce content to identify opportunities to improve Banks’ product presentation and online shopping experience
  • Understand vehicle Year-Make-Model-Engine (SEMA) structure, and how it relates to part fitments. Maintain vehicle to product relationships as well as vehicle lookup data
  • Create and update Owner’s Manual website listings. Make improvements and update as necessary
  • Other duties assigned by manager
