E-Commerce Product Specialist
About The Position
The Ecommerce Product Specialist adds and maintains products on D&B Supply's website to expand its product offering. The role works with team members to obtain product information and images, merchandise the website, share ideas and duties, and provide quality customer service. Effective communication with team members, customers, and internal departments is essential. The position also involves systematic, repetitive work to organize and publish consistent product data online. The listed duties are representative and do not preclude supervisors from assigning other duties of a similar kind or difficulty.
Requirements
- Proven history of at least 2 years performing administrative tasks.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and organized, with an enjoyment of problem solving.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Suite products.
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for most of the shift, interact with computer screens, make and receive phone calls, and type.
- High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with Photoshop.
- Previous experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento).
Responsibilities
- Correspond professionally with vendors to obtain product information.
- Review, write, or edit product names, descriptions, and specifications.
- Merchandise and prepare the website to meet deadlines for online promotions.
- Troubleshoot and manage customer service tickets submitted through the website.
- Perform light photo editing; training is available.
- Perform data entry duties associated with SEO.
- Complete other administrative duties assigned to the Ecommerce Team.
