About The Position

The TJX eCommerce Product Copywriter’s key responsibility is to write and review all products received for maximum consistency, accuracy and quality control, while maintaining high productivity. This position has developed the ability to work with all products across all categories received and on site and assists in training Copy Coordinators in product delivery. This position reports to the Copy Supervisor and is based at the Marshalls Photo Studio located in Union, OH.

Research individual products, larger trends and competitive sites
Stay up-to-date with Style Guides, styling techniques and copy directives

Continually working to improve overall accuracy and efficiency
Completes all assigned work on time
Regularly reports status to the Copy Supervisor

Responsibilities

Handle a heavy workload of daily copy deliverables across all categories meeting accuracy, efficiency and quality control standards
Assist in training Copy Coordinators in product knowledge and the content management system to achieve high standards of efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
Write creative collection copy, maintaining consistency with TJX branding and voice.
Edit daily product copy to current directives and Copy Manual standards.
Research individual products, larger trends and competitive sites, reporting analysis to Copy Supervisor to improve upon copy relevancy.
Stay up-to-date with Style Guides, styling techniques and copy directives to ensure quality control.
Efficiently manage time and fast-paced workload, continually working to improve overall accuracy and efficiency.
Completes all assigned work on time and regularly reports status to the Copy Supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned.
