About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment in an e-commerce setting. The specialist will contribute to the selection, preparation, and packaging of customer orders, maintaining product presentation, optimizing space, and protecting product integrity. A key objective is to achieve an average order fulfillment time of less than 48 hours. The position also involves operational oversight, including managing open orders, discrepancies, and customer pick-up systems, as well as preparing packaging materials and assembling packaged products. Continuous improvement, team leadership, training, and effective communication with other departments are also integral parts of this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in e-commerce fulfillment or related operations preferred.
  • Previous experience with inventory management systems preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the selection, preparation, and fulfillment of each customer’s order with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure orders are packaged with care, maintaining product presentation, optimizing space, and protecting product integrity during fulfillment.
  • Maintain a commitment to achieving an average order fulfillment time of less than 48 hours.
  • Review the Open Orders report regularly and take proactive steps to identify and resolve discrepancies, delays, or outstanding issues.
  • Manage expired orders and redeposits within the local locker pick-up system.
  • Organize and maintain records of customer fulfillment pick tickets.
  • Create Sales Orders for wholesale customers as required.
  • Prepare packaging materials including, but not limited to, bags, labels, tin ties, and boxes.
  • Fill, seal, secure with tin ties, and place packaged products into designated boxes in accordance with established procedures.
  • Identify and report system issues promptly, contributing to a culture of problem-solving and operational excellence.
  • Maintain departmental cleanliness and organization standards to support workflow efficiency and food safety compliance.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment that promotes both speed and accuracy.
  • Support process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct monthly finished goods inventory counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Provide comprehensive training to new team members, ensuring they develop the knowledge and skills necessary for successful order fulfillment.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for team members, supporting their growth and development within the department.
  • Communicate effectively with the Customer Experience team regarding order fulfillment issues to support timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Report equipment issues promptly to support timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Contribute to the overall growth, performance, and success of the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team and organization.
