Depending on daily production needs and candidate strengths, responsibilities will focus on inventory intake and product evaluation, order picking and shipping, or a combination of both tracks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1 year of experience in retail, warehouse, production, or a related environment preferred.
  • Experience handling merchandise, sorting, or working with inventory is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and listing systems.
  • Ability to follow processes, meet production goals, and maintain accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Background and Drug Screen required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, sort, label, and scan incoming merchandise and donations.
  • Inspect items to assess condition, quality, and overall sale readiness.
  • Research items to determine specifications, market value, and accurate titles; operate testing tools as needed (e.g., jewelry or specialty equipment).
  • Utilize internal systems (e.g., NOS) to complete product check-in and quality processing.
  • Photograph merchandise and draft clear, accurate product descriptions.
  • List media (e.g., books, DVDs) and general merchandise for online sale in alignment with company standards.
  • Maintain organized inventory and rotation schedules, purging outdated stock as required.
  • Use handheld scanners (e.g., Zebra) to navigate inventory and pick merchandise for online orders.
  • Pack orders and prepare outgoing shipments using specialized equipment (e.g., box makers) and shipping software.
  • Generate shipping labels and documentation for carrier pickup (FedEx, USPS, OSM, etc.).
  • Sort outbound shipments and support daily carrier pickup schedules.
  • Meet or exceed established daily processing, listing, and shipping targets.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, processing records, and inventory data.
  • Respond to customer pickup inquiries and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Safely load/unload delivery trucks and assist with general material handling.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and product flow protocols, maintaining a clean and safe workstation.
