About The Position

Help prepare truck bodies for the E-Coat process. E-Coat Hangers help ensure bodies have an even finish and meet the requirements for the process. The role involves operating precision scraping and sanding tools, finishing metal surfaces to specified dimensions, using basic hand tools, and moving equipment and parts based on job orders.

Requirements

• Knowledge of hand tools is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up one of several types of precision scraping and sanding tools.
• Sand and scrape internal and external surfaces of metal parts to achieve a smooth, even finish that meets required dimensions.
• Use basic hand tools, including a drill, rivet gun, wrenches, and caulk gun.
• Load and unload very heavy equipment.
• Manually push and pull equipment and retrieve parts from inventory based on job orders.
