About The Position

Loyola Medicine is seeking a Dynamic Scheduler to schedule patient appointments in conjunction with orders, urgency of care, and patient convenience, involving multiple sites when appropriate. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal physician schedules and efficient patient flow. The position involves monitoring physician schedules daily, utilizing insurance verification procedures for maximum reimbursement, and proficiency in clinical, registration, and scheduling software systems. The ideal candidate will efficiently and effectively manage a high volume of telephone calls using excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
Minimum of 3 years of previous job-related experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Rep, highly preferred
Minimum of 3 years training in general administrative, business, healthcare, or related field

Responsibilities

Monitors physicians' schedules daily for optimal physician schedule
Utilizes insurance verification procedures to ensure maximum reimbursement and correct payment.
Proficient in clinical, registration and scheduling software systems.
Learns new systems as required.
Efficiently and effectively manage a high volume of telephone calls to the service area.
Answers calls using telephone customer service skills and maintains 95% for customer telephone skills
