About The Position

Third Future Schools, a high-achieving charter school network, is seeking a DYAD Mixed Martial Arts Consultant for its Manor Middle School in Killeen, TX. This role involves leading engaging elective classes for students as part of the DYAD Electives program, an experiential learning model designed to foster 21st-century skills like critical thinking, communication, and creativity through hands-on experiences. Students will participate in various elective courses, including fitness, arts, and other enrichment activities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide engaging, structured, and experience-based instruction in mixed martial arts.
Develop and provide curriculum aligned to the elective taught.
Independently plan, lead, and manage a class that reflects expertise and DYAD program expectations.
Create a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment.
Actively teach, monitor, and engage students throughout the class period.
Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school expectations.
Ensure students are participating in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
Communicate professionally with campus staff and leadership.
Be prepared, consistent, and dependable in daily instruction.
Use expertise to connect classroom learning to real-world experiences.
Contribute positively to the culture of the school and the integrity of the DYAD program.
Create opportunities for parents and families to see and celebrate student accomplishments through showcases, presentations, displays, or other demonstrations of learning.
