About The Position

Family Pathways has been committed to standing by the side of our neighbors since 1978. Over the past four decades, we’ve adapted to the needs of the communities we serve in the City of Forest Lake; Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine Counties in Minnesota and Polk County in Wisconsin. Family Pathways’ support services provides healthy food access, domestic and sexual violence prevention and victim services, supervised visitation, and services for older adults and caregivers.

Requirements

Associate's degree in human services or 2 years' experience in the human service field.
Ability to perform a potential on-call rotation at 1-week increments if required.
Experience working with people experiencing a crisis through a trauma-informed, client-centered, strength-based, and empowerment model.
Sensitive and knowledgeable of the issues regarding domestic violence and sexual assault.
A team player committed to advancing the vision, mission, values, and the team's guiding principles.
Demonstrated passion to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, domestic violence, and/or mental illness.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information and confidential matters.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; excellent listening skills.
Position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
