About The Position
Gulf Coast Veterinary Emergency Hospital is seeking 1st through 4th year veterinary students for a paid externship. This is an opportunity to enhance your education through real-world experiences in a 24/7 emergency hospital equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative team. The hospital offers a variety of services including radiology, in-house laboratory diagnostics, ultrasound, an on-site blood and plasma bank, a surgical suite, an on-site apartment, and a full veterinary pharmacy. The externship provides paid hours, 1:1 mentorship, and potential future veterinary and ownership opportunities through a partner track program and DVM mentor network. The location in Biloxi offers a blend of coastal charm, history, and modern living with affordable housing, beaches, and nearby attractions.
Requirements
- Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
- Compassionate, Team Player, and Strong Communicator.
