About The Position
Homestead Veterinary Hospital is seeking 1st through 4th year veterinary students for a paid externship. This is an opportunity for veterinary students to enhance their education through real-world experiences in a practice recognized for its work in equine medicine and laminitis research. The hospital features a state-of-the-art 10,000 sq. ft. facility with stalls, indoor stocks, and advanced services including surgical laser, K-Laser therapy, gastroscopy, ultrasound, mobile digital X-ray, and in-house diagnostics. The hospital can care for both large and small animals. Located near Washington, Missouri, the hospital is situated on a beautiful property with ample space for equine care.
Requirements
- Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
- Compassionate, Team Player, and Strong Communicator.
