About The Position
Randall Veterinary Hospital is seeking 1st through 4th-year veterinary students for a paid externship. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in a diverse veterinary practice that manages a wide range of cases, including exotic animals, large animals (farm animals and equine), and advanced care such as orthopedics, cancer treatment, and complex abdominal surgeries. The hospital is a state-of-the-art, 10,000 square foot facility located in Byram, Mississippi, founded in 2004 with a mission to provide top-quality healthcare using the latest innovations. The team values collaboration, mentorship, and a supportive family atmosphere, offering a consistent five-day work week with no emergency calls or weekend shifts. The externship provides paid hours at $15 per hour, 1:1 mentorship, access to a DVM Mentor Network, and flexible scheduling. There are also future veterinary opportunity preferences and potential ownership opportunities through a Partner Track Program.
