About The Position
Utz Quality Foods is recruiting a Dumper/Back Up Machine Operator to join its manufacturing team in Hanover, Pennsylvania. The role supplies production lines with packaging materials, transports finished product to the warehouse, and operates barrel filling lines, a rod machine, and labelers. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5:55 AM to 5:55 PM.
Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Knowledge and skills operating barrel filling lines, a rod machine, and labelers.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
- Forklift license required.
- Wear non-slip shoes and appropriate personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supply production lines with needed materials.
- Place skids of cardboard and barrels at tables and packing stations.
- Use a forklift or hand jack to transport skids of finished product to the warehouse.
- Operate barrel filling lines, a rod machine, and labelers.
- Backfill warehouse personnel by loading trucks and unloading incoming materials.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Perform quality and food safety tasks for the position.
