About The Position

This role involves two primary functions: Dealer and Supervisor. As a Dealer, the main goal is to create an entertaining environment for guests by providing courteous, friendly, and prompt service at table games. As a Supervisor, the role involves overseeing the operations of table games during an assigned shift, with a focus on guest service, asset security, and employee motivation and coaching.

Requirements

  • At least six (6) months dealing experience is required and/or successful completion of dealer school or program at an accredited institution.
  • Must possess strong money handling and documentation skills.
  • Must have knowledge of casino rules, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Table games.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team across departments and levels of management.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must possess money handling skill in providing chips for guests.
  • Knowledge of card games.
  • Basic knowledge of other games and services offered at property.
  • Knowledge of department policies and procedures, including those pertaining to Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines.
  • Must be able to operate a typewriter, computer, telephone, ten key adding machine, and calculator, photocopy machine and fax machine.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to handle paperwork, operate computers, and other Pit equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Create an entertainment environment for all guests.
  • Provide courteous, friendly and prompt service in dealing table games.
  • Supervise the operations of table games on an assigned shift.
  • Ensure guest service, security of assets, and positive employee motivation and coaching.
  • Responsible for the operations of table games on an assigned shift.
  • Display a working knowledge of all table games, house rules, counting methods and procedures.
  • Assure that all coin and check racks are filled at all times.
  • Settle disputes that arise from guests, referring difficult ones to management.
  • Assure guest development by interacting with guests, modeling interactive skills, and making comp decisions.
  • Remain alert to unusual or questionable activities by employees or guests and report to superiors.
  • Observe and provide assistance for problems or differences between employees and guests.
  • Recommend changes in department operations including hiring, promotion, demotion, termination, and wage/salary changes.
  • Maintain an upbeat personality for all interactions.
  • Be proactive in anticipating customer needs.
  • Familiarize oneself with guests' names and personal facts.
  • Provide chips for guests.
  • Possess knowledge of card games.
  • Possess basic knowledge of other games and services offered at the property.
  • Adhere to department policies and procedures, including Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines.
  • Routinely strive to build and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Exercise discretion in communicating special promotions to customers.
  • Coordinate with Casino Operations supervisor and Security to detect and prevent cheating and identify floor irregularities.
  • Act as a role model and present oneself as a credit to Caesars.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
