About The Position

The Dual Director of Sales leads sales efforts for the Hanover Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton. The role develops strategic sales plans, builds client relationships, and identifies opportunities to increase revenue and market share. Working in partnership with hotel general managers and leadership, this sales leader helps drive business and hotel performance across both properties.

Requirements

At least 2 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a Director of Sales or comparable leadership role.
Strong prospecting, networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to develop new business and achieve sales goals.
Strong understanding of hotel sales strategies, revenue management, and market trends.
Knowledge of brand-specific sales tools and systems.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hotel leadership and operations teams.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a Select Service or Extended Stay hotel environment.
Previous Dual Director of Sales or multi-property sales experience.
Associate degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for both hotel properties in partnership with the General Manager(s).
Create and manage sales plans and budgets to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
Identify and develop new business through prospecting, networking, community involvement, and relationship building.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, group clients, travel professionals, and local businesses.
Conduct sales appointments, property tours, client meetings, and outside sales calls.
Make consistent prospecting and cold calls to generate new business.
Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and revenue performance to identify growth opportunities.
Use Star Reports, demand analysis, revenue management strategies, and applicable sales and front-office systems to support business decisions.
Track and maintain accurate sales activity, account information, leads, and production.
Provide sales training, coaching, and support to hotel team members as applicable.
Partner with hotel leadership and operations teams to ensure successful execution of group and business accounts.
Represent the hotels at community, networking, and industry events.
Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as directed by hotel leadership.
Perform General Manager duties in the General Manager's absence, as applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
