About The Position

Hazard Community and Technical College is accepting applications for the Dual Credit Coordinator (Manager 1 – Student Support) position. The Dual Credit Coordinator supervises the day-to-day operations of dual credit services to help students with unique needs to navigate and succeed in higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Advise dual credit students on course selections and degree requirements while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with high school counselors, faculty, and administrators to build strong secondary partnerships, align curriculum, and coordinate scheduling.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of dual credit staff and provide guidance and direction on dual credit topics.
  • Assist with marketing and outreach initiatives directed at high schools to promote dual credit opportunities, including hosting or participating in orientation events, and provide enrollment support to dual credit staff.
  • Coordinate the application and management of dual credit and work-ready scholarships, ensuring compliance with business office and tuition requirements.
  • Maintain dual credit operations in accordance with KCTCS and state dual credit regulations, and report program outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Utilize multiple software applications for the maintenance of student data, enrollment, and bio-demographics.
  • Provide leadership and support in planning, managing, developing, and evaluating dual credit strategies, initiatives, and activities.
  • Collaborate and communicate with partnering KCTCS institutions on policies and procedures.
  • Works in collaboration with the student ombudsman to address student complaints and facilitate procedures supporting student outcomes.
