The Community Based Day Support Coordinator – Level I assists individuals with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities to build and maintain their ability to participate in community activities by focusing on skill areas that include communication, self-care, relationship-building and community involvement. The CBDS Coordinator Level I is responsible for implementing the Individual Support Plan objectives and documenting their progress. The CBDS Coordinator Level I position is “hands on” which requires all work, with the exception of visits to off-site locations to provide support and training, to be performed at AGB offices. This is not a “remote” position. As with all positions at The Arc of Greater Brockton consistent punctual arrival at work, commitment to assigned hours, positive attitude, and adherence to the Organization’s policies is expected and is an essential aspect of employment.
