About The Position

Conco Construction is hiring a Drywall Finisher for commercial and industrial construction work in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves drywall work on new walls and ceilings, repairing existing walls, hanging sheetrock, taping and mudding, applying texture, and refinishing. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on experience and performance. Wages are based on experience and performance. Employment offers are conditioned on successfully passing a background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test. Employees are responsible for transportation to and from the job site.

Requirements

• Experience in all facets of drywall work, including new walls and ceilings and repairs to existing walls.
• Ability to hang sheetrock.
• Ability to tape and mud sheetrock.
• Ability to apply texture and refinish.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or greater occasionally and 25–50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work outdoors and stand for the majority of the day.
• Ability to perform tasks while walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling.
• Must be able to work outside normal operating hours: 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. in winter/fall and spring/summer, as stated in the posting.
• Must provide the listed tools.
• Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test as a condition of employment.
• Responsible for transportation to and from the job site.
