About The Position

Under the direction and supervision of the designated Yard Manager, the Delivery Driver is responsible for accurately performing assigned duties and ensuring jobsite deliveries are completed within scheduled times. Duties include operating company vehicles and transporting tools, equipment rentals, and materials to project sites.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Ability to learn new skills and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced construction environment.
• Must complete a mandatory background check and drug screening.
• Must complete all DOT driver qualification documents.
• Must complete medical exams, including DOT drug/alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

• Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle towing a 20-foot trailer as needed.
• Drive and operate a small dump truck to miscellaneous project sites.
• Pick up, load, deliver, and unload tools, equipment rentals, and materials.
• Complete the inspection and driving log for the Yard Manager.
• Collaborate with Swinerton Superintendents, Laborers, and Project Managers.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Adhere to OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and procedures.
• Uphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion, and Excellence.
