About The Position

The Dry Kiln Forklift Operator ensures the safe and efficient movement of materials within a manufacturing facility. The role operates forklifts to transport wood products to and from the dry kiln area, maintains inventory levels, and supports production schedules. The operator monitors the drying process and reports issues to supervisors to help ensure quality standards are met. The position also requires following safety protocols and conducting equipment checks to prevent accidents and downtime, contributing to productive manufacturing operations and timely delivery of quality products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail when monitoring the drying process and product quality.
• Strong communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
