About The Position

Biocair is seeking a Driver in Philadelphia to support the transportation of time-critical shipments for the life sciences industry. The role involves collecting, packaging, and delivering sensitive customer materials in compliance with transportation regulations and company procedures. The Driver represents the company at customer sites, helps maintain the vehicle fleet, and supports the safe movement of scientific and healthcare shipments.

This is a full-time, fully onsite position at the Philadelphia office, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to global operations and develop a career within a growing global organisation.

Requirements

• Experience within transport, courier, logistics, or freight forwarding environments.
• Valid US driver's licence held for at least two years.
• Fewer than two moving violations within the last 24 months.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Complete local collections and deliveries safely, professionally, and on time.
• Follow driving regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Prepare and package customer shipments in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Handle temperature-controlled, dry ice, infectious substance, and dangerous goods packaging where required.
• Comply with DOT and IATA regulations relating to transportation, labelling, and packaging.
• Deliver a first-class customer experience and act as a professional ambassador for the business.
• Build positive relationships with customers and communicate feedback to the wider team.
• Conduct daily and weekly vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean, roadworthy, secure, and fuelled.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.
