About The Position

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time, on-call Driver. The Driver safely and promptly delivers vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors to their destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The position pays $17.60 per hour to start and meets at 225 E Cypress Ave, Redding, CA 96002. Candidates must have open availability Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and may be called in to work up to three days per week. Enterprise Mobility provides mobility solutions through its Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands, along with services including carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle; this is an essential function of the position.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must not have interviewed with Enterprise for any position in the last 12 months.
Must have open availability Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Responsibilities

Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, navigating written directions.
Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to the appropriate destinations.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
Clean vehicles when asked.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
