Driver - Kerrville
About The Position
Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated Driver to deliver vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and promptly to the appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The role transports fleet cars and vans between rental locations, locally or out of area as needed, and may involve following written directions, coordinating with other drivers, communicating by two-way radio or cellular phone, and cleaning vehicles. The position is located at 2042 Sidney Baker St., Kerrville, TX 78028, and pays $12.00 per hour. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; the part-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Sunday and Saturday are off for both schedules.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation for part-time applicants or two moving violations for full-time applicants, and/or at-fault accident on the driving record in the past three years.
- Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must have six consecutive months of prior work or organization experience.
Responsibilities
- Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations.
- Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed while following all rules of the road.
- Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to the appropriate destinations.
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
- Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
- Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
- Clean vehicles when asked.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
