Driver - Kerrville
About The Position
Enterprise Mobility is hiring a Driver in Kerrville, Texas. The role pays $12.00 per hour and involves safely and promptly transporting fleet vehicles and, in some cases, customers, employees, or vendors to their destinations while providing courteous, professional customer service. Drivers may transport vehicles locally or outside the area, follow written directions, coordinate vehicle drop-offs and pickups, and complete related duties such as cleaning vehicles. The position offers both full-time and part-time schedules, Monday through Friday, with weekends off. Full-time hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; part-time hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Enterprise Mobility describes itself as a provider of mobility services, operating rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management businesses through its brands and network.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation for part-time employment or two moving violations for full-time employment, and/or at-fault accident on the driving record in the past three years.
- Have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
- Be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
- Have six consecutive months of prior work or organization experience.
Responsibilities
- Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, using written directions as needed.
- Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of the area as required, following all rules of the road.
- Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to the appropriate destinations.
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
- Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and completed on time.
- Communicate by two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
- Clean vehicles when asked.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
