About The Position

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a full-time or part-time Driver to provide residents with safe, reliable, courteous, and efficient transportation. The role includes preparing and maintaining the bus and prioritizing resident safety and satisfaction. Part-time Drivers transport residents only. Full-time Drivers divide their time between resident transportation and concierge work. Applicants must provide a resume showing verifiable professional driving or passenger-transport experience by bus or van.

Requirements

Provide a resume with verifiable professional driving or passenger-transport experience by bus or van.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid and active driver’s license.
Meet motor vehicle records clearance requirements.
Have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and the general public.
Demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member and independently.
Possess current first aid and CPR certification.
Have excellent customer service skills.
Meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare the bus for operation and maintain the bus.
Take initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.
For full-time positions, split time between transporting residents and working as a concierge.
