About The Position

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is looking for a Full-Time Driver to join their team at Pathways Omaha. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about serving others and who enjoy connecting with co-workers. The Driver will provide safe and timely transportation of Immanuel Pathways participants, as well as transport meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and other necessary items. The position requires maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle daily and reporting any safety issues to the Transportation Supervisor. Experience in transporting individuals with special mobility needs is necessary.

Requirements

Must be 21 years or older.
Able to pass a DOT physical.
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Valid Driver’s license is required.
In Iowa, Chauffeur's license will be required prior to hire.
CDL certificate may be required depending on location.
CNA certificate may be required depending on location.
Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Hiring is contingent on successfully passing a DOT Medical Exam and obtaining DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and timely transportation of Immanuel Pathways participants.
Transport meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other items deemed necessary.
Ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle on a daily basis.
Communicate any safety issues to the Transportation Supervisor.
Transport individuals with special mobility needs.
