About The Position

Viking Electric, a part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver for their Rochester, MN location. This role involves delivering electrical products to customers throughout the local area, with all deliveries being local and allowing the driver to return home each night. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license - Class B CDL
• Be at least 21 years old
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
• Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
• Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical with our physician network.
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
• Basic English communication skills
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (training provided)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future

• 1 year of related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care
• Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
• Contact customers upon arrival and assist them with unloading
