About The Position

Riddle Village is seeking a full-time CDL Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents, guests, and designated visitors. The Driver operates facility vehicles for trips to local restaurants, shopping centers, physician offices, other locations, and scheduled activities and events.

The role includes maintaining vehicle logs, purchasing gas, keeping preventative maintenance and inspection schedules current, performing minor vehicle maintenance as needed, and keeping vehicles clean and presentable, including washing them. The Driver may also provide general assistance at the Concierge desk and perform other duties as assigned or needed for emergencies or other specific situations.

The Driver works with well-maintained, modern vehicles and may also work in a clean, well-lit, well-ventilated building. Work may take place during the day or night and in varied weather conditions. Physical activities include walking, climbing, kneeling, and lifting; the Driver may come into contact with chemicals used to maintain and clean vehicles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Commercial Driver's License as required by the State of Pennsylvania.
• Verifiable safe driving record.
• Thorough knowledge of the metropolitan and surrounding area.
• Genuine interest in geriatric care and commitment to upholding the facility's philosophy.
• Well-groomed appearance and courteous, friendly, patient, and congenial manner.
• Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
• Excellent customer service skills.
