About The Position

The Driver provides safe, reliable, and professional transportation for guests and resort operations. The role requires strong driving skills, a focus on safety, and excellent customer service to help ensure guests have a positive experience. Drivers are expected to demonstrate Westgate’s values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in their interactions.

Requirements

• Valid CDL driver’s license with passenger endorsement.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Safe driving record and commitment to transportation safety.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and inspection knowledge.
• Proficiency using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in guest-facing situations.
• Ability to lift and transport items up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass a background check and drug test and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must uphold Westgate Resorts’ standards of professionalism, safety, and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests and passengers to designated locations while following traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and operational.
• Keep vehicles clean and promptly report maintenance concerns.
• Provide guest service and assist passengers with questions, directions, and transportation needs.
• Use GPS and local area knowledge to navigate efficiently and maintain timely schedules.
• Maintain accurate transportation logs and required documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage, equipment, or other items as needed.
• Monitor traffic and road conditions and adjust routes accordingly.
• Represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, communication, and guest interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
