About The Position

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time, onsite Driver/Stockroom Expeditor at its service center in Tualatin, Oregon. The position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and supports customers through shipping and receiving, inventory and stockroom upkeep, order fulfillment, and local pickup and delivery. The role also assists with customer service, sales and service tasks, data entry, and customer calls as needed. Requirements

At least 6 months of warehouse or customer service experience.
Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and regularly lift 50 pounds.
Basic computer skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification; the company can provide training.

Responsibilities

Ship and/or receive materials.
Maintain stock areas and inventory, using paper pick tickets and the SAP computer system to ship orders.
Use a forklift, hand and power tools, weighing scales, and postage meters.
Perform cycle counting and daily maintenance.
Operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver orders and equipment.
Assist with data entry, counter and telephone sales/service, order pulling, and customer calls as needed.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Provide customers with service and support, using strong customer service skills.
