About The Position

Central Transport is hiring an entry-level Driver Recruiter at its headquarters in Warren, Michigan. The recruiter will help hire CDL drivers and other critical positions across the company’s network. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role suited to someone who is competitive, organized, comfortable with frequent phone calls, and interested in recruiting, HR, or logistics. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided. The position offers a competitive base salary with uncapped bonuses; the posting says top earners make over $100,000 and that recruiters can earn $300 or more per hire.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; Business, HR, Logistics, or a similar field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and comfort speaking on the phone.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Office and navigating systems.
• No prior recruiting experience is required; training is provided.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Workday, Indeed, or Tenstreet.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for CDL drivers, dock workers, and support roles.
• Source candidates using job boards, databases, and outbound outreach.
• Screen applicants and conduct phone interviews.
• Make 30–50 outbound calls and handle 15–20 inbound calls daily.
• Track candidates and recruiting activity in ATS and HR systems.
• Keep candidate pipelines full and support hiring managers.
