About The Position

The Driver Recruiter recruits truck-driver applicants, primarily by phone, and arranges for drivers to report for orientation. The role also prepares and mails promotional materials, enters applicant data, and occasionally visits training schools, attends trade shows, and travels to promote KLLM.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of college or 2 years of work-related experience within the trucking industry.
• Familiarity with industry, state, and federal hiring requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and initiative.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic PC skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Recruit applicants for truck driver positions, primarily over the phone.
• Schedule and arrange for drivers to report for orientation.
• Assemble and mail promotional materials.
• Occasionally visit training schools, attend trade shows, and travel to promote KLLM.
• Enter applicant data.
