About The Position

We are seeking an energetic Driver Recruiter to manage our full hiring pipeline and fill open trucks with safe, dependable CDL drivers. This role involves sourcing, screening, and ensuring compliance for all new hires.

Requirements

  • Strong phone sales skills and the ability to engage candidates confidently.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail and personal integrity, especially when handling compliance and safety screening.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to learn DOT rules, McLeod software, and industry compliance tools quickly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with clear performance expectations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous recruiting, sales, or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing marketing strategies.
  • Post job openings on trucking boards and relevant platforms to attract qualified CDL candidates.
  • Develop and manage driver referral programs to expand the candidate network.
  • Pitch company pay scales, home time options, and benefits packages effectively to prospective drivers.
  • Build positive relationships with candidates through phone, email, and in-person communication.
  • Review applications and employment history.
  • Check MVR, Pre-Employment Screening, and DOT Clearinghouse records.
  • Extend job offers, schedule DOT physicals, coordinate orientation, and process new hire paperwork.
  • Track recruiting metrics and pipeline data to measure results and drive continuous improvement.
