About The Position

Air Liquide is hiring for a Driver Pick-up & Delivery / Shipper-Receiver. This position is located at our Facilities in Burlington, ON. The main objective and purpose of this position consist in providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC’s quality and safety objectives.

Requirements

• Valid Az or DZ license with air with a clean driver's abstract
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry
• Customer service experience
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies.
• Picks up empty cylinders as required.
• Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations.
• Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites, pick up empties then offload trucks upon return.
• Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of his/her duties are properly maintained.
• Pick up and deliver freight safely and efficiently
• Loads and unloads trucks with other team members
• Operates vehicles in a safe manner
• Reports all unsafe conditions, and all accidents immediately to his Supervisor or the Safety Champion.
