About The Position

Mustang Freightways is currently hiring a Class 1 City P&D Driver for our Calgary Terminal. We are a diversified, general freight carrier offering both LTL & TL services in Alberta and British Columbia. At Mustang, our team takes pride in its service-excellence, to meet and exceed our customer expectations.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 operator’s license
• 2-5 years driving experience
• General knowledge of the freight industry
• Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding safe operation of commercial vehicles, hours of service, and handling of dangerous goods
• Positive attitude with the ability to work alone or in a team environment
• Strong communication skills are a must
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Flat deck experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Complete pick up and deliveries in and around Calgary using operating a truck & trailer, or flat deck.
• Responsible for assisting with loading and unloading of truck and safe operation of pallet jack or power jack.
• Complete daily logs and comply with hours-of-service regulations.
• Conduct daily inspection of the vehicle.
• Manual lifting, up to 50 lbs.
• Overtime required.
