About The Position

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Driver Helper to accompany a Route Driver on a two-person team collecting used tires from retail locations. The Driver Helper assists with manually loading and stacking tires onto the truck, with each tire weighing up to 50 pounds. The role also supports safe and timely pickups, truck inspections, route navigation, and maintaining an orderly work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Route Driver in picking up used tires from retail locations.
• Manually load and stack tires onto the truck, ensuring proper organization and safety.
• Perform heavy lifting, with tires weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Follow company safety protocols during loading and unloading.
• Assist with truck inspections and keep the loading area clear and safe.
• Communicate with store personnel and the Route Driver to support timely pickups.
• Follow established routes and schedules for tire collection.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the truck bed.
• Support the Route Driver with navigation to locations and timely service.
