Driver Growth Manager

8Fleet Inc.Los Angeles, CA

About The Position

We are looking for a world class Driver Growth Marketer who is hungry to help scale 8Fleet to the next phase of our journey. This is not a traditional recruiting role. You will own the strategy behind driver acquisition while also managing the team responsible for converting applicants into active drivers. You’ll be responsible for both top-of-funnel growth (where drivers come from) and mid-funnel execution (how effectively we convert them). This includes setting goals, improving processes, and ensuring the team operates with consistency and accountability. You’ll work closely with the Operations to make driver growth more predictable, efficient, and aligned with fleet needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving systems, and driving measurable results.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in growth, operations, recruiting, or a similar role
  • Experience managing or leading a team, with a focus on performance and accountability
  • Familiarity with CRM, ATS, or candidate tracking tools
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workflows at once
  • Comfort working with metrics and using data to improve outcomes
  • A hands-on, problem-solving mindset — you’re willing to jump in and fix what’s not working
  • Clear communication skills and ability to align cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Own the driver acquisition and lifecycle marketing strategy across paid channels, SEO, email, job boards, social media, referrals, and local partnerships to drive measurable growth in our driver base
  • Set weekly and monthly hiring targets based on operational needs and ensure the team consistently meets them
  • Manage and coach the team responsible for driver outreach, follow-ups, and onboarding coordination
  • Partner with Operations to ensure driver growth aligns with fleet demand and service quality
  • Improve how applicants move through the funnel — from application to onboarding completion
  • Identify where candidates drop off and implement changes to improve conversion and speed
  • Establish clear processes, expectations, and performance standards for the team
  • Track key metrics such as applicant volume, contact rate, onboarding completion, and time-to-hire
  • Develop paid advertising budgets, tools, and resources to continuously improve marketing ROI
  • Continuously test and improve messaging, incentives, and outreach strategies
  • Build a more predictable and repeatable driver growth engine over time

Benefits

  • annual bonus
  • strong stock option award
