About The Position

Juniper is seeking a Landscape Construction Foreman to supervise and work alongside a landscape construction crew. The role oversees daily site operations and helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the company’s quality standards. The foreman coordinates equipment and materials, trains and supervises crew members, operates construction equipment, and supports the day-to-day maintenance and readiness of vehicles and equipment. The position involves extended outdoor work in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, as well as physical activity including repeated bending, stooping, and twisting and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Experience with landscape construction projects.
Knowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod installation, drainage work, and irrigation.
Supervisory experience.
Ability and willingness to work outside for long periods in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Ability and willingness to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to use hand tools and power equipment needed for landscape construction projects.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations for a landscape construction crew.
Coordinate the equipment and materials needed for each project.
Supervise and train crew members on installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety.
Maintain project schedules and complete landscape construction projects within deadlines.
Oversee quality control on job sites.
Safely operate loaders, skid steers, and excavators for landscape construction projects.
Load and unload cargo, heavy equipment, and planting materials.
Read landscape plans and provide landscape material layouts.
Track crew members’ work hours on job sites each day.
Ensure equipment and truck/trailer are in working order and properly maintained.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
