About The Position

Leon Medical Centers is currently seeking a cautious driver with the compassion and patience required to work with their elderly patients. The center prides itself in providing exceptional medical services and patient care and is looking for someone to join their family. This position requires the ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and/or late afternoon shifts.

Requirements

• Must be patient in dealing with an elderly population and sympathetic to hearing or vision deficiencies.
• Must be able to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• A valid Florida Driver's License
• Excellent driving record: Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be reviewed prior to the interview.
• At least one (1) year of experience transporting passengers in a patient/customer-centered atmosphere

Responsibilities

• Transports the scheduled patients to and from the centers or to and from any other medical facilities.
• Assists all passengers (including passengers with special needs) in entering and leaving vans.
• Keeps vehicle clean, polished, and in good operating condition.
• Drives in a safe and alert manner.
