About The Position

The Driver helps implement the community’s Art of Living WellSM philosophy through daily interaction with residents and by providing transportation to community programs, events, and resident appointments. The role provides exemplary customer service that encourages resident independence and fosters a secure, friendly environment. The position is full-time, with a schedule of either Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience as a driver; experience with seniors is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of a good driving record.
• Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within a reasonable time of employment, as required.
• Class B Driver License.
• Passenger Endorsement.
• First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

• Driver experience with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to community events, shopping excursions, and other destinations.
• Assist with scheduling transportation as required.
• Promote resident attendance and participation in Wellness Programs.
• Monitor the general maintenance and overall safety of vehicles.
• Assist with setting up and tearing down Wellness and community events as needed.
