About The Position

Fellowship Square is seeking a reliable and friendly Driver to provide transportation services to senior residents. The Driver safely transports residents to medical appointments, social outings, and scheduled activities while helping ensure their comfort and safety. The role also assists with preparing and setting up resident activities and events, and contributes to a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Arizona Driver’s License with a P endorsement, or ability to obtain one before employment.
Clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact respectfully with seniors.
Ability to lift and assist residents as needed, with support from other team members.
Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and evenings when needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience driving larger vehicles, such as passenger vans or buses.
Previous experience working with seniors.

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other scheduled events.
Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and ready for use.
Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, destinations, and special needs.
Assist with setting up and preparing for resident activities and events.
Coordinate transportation needs and schedule changes with team members.
Follow safety and traffic regulations.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff while providing excellent customer service.
