About The Position
The Driver/Bellman is responsible for safely operating the hotel shuttle van for airport pickups, drop-offs, and local area transportation. This role also involves assisting guests with luggage, packages, and equipment, including transporting items to and from rooms. The Driver/Bellman will greet guests upon arrival, open doors, provide valet services, and offer information regarding hotel facilities. Additionally, they will perform daily safety checks on vehicles, maintain clean vehicles, ensure adequate fuel levels, and deliver messages, valet items, and luggage to guest rooms promptly. Maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, baggage room, and carts is also a key part of the role.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is often preferred.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts (mornings/evenings).
