The Night Auditor is responsible for preparing daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing point of service tapes/journals, breaking down revenue, covers, servers' fees, tips paid out, and settlements. This role involves running audit reports from various systems, making corrections and adjustments, and handling computer problems during the shift. Key duties include inputting revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports, balancing all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintaining files, and resetting the system for the next day's operations. Additionally, the Night Auditor performs all functions of a Guest Service Agent (GSA) as needed, such as checking in guests, answering phones, and taking reservations, and may assist with breakfast bar set-up.
