About The Position
Join the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? team in an active, hands-on role combining customer service, sales, driving, and labor. You’ll represent the company at customers’ homes or businesses, build rapport, understand their needs, explain service options and pricing, and provide a positive customer experience. The work includes providing on-site estimates and safely loading and moving items. The position pays $15–$20 per hour, with opportunities for tips and performance-based bonuses. Employees receive weekly pay and paid training. Full-time opportunities and a four-day work week are available. Eligible employees can receive health, vision, and dental benefits and a 401(k) after one year. There are opportunities to advance into leadership and other company roles.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have a clean three-year driving record for insurance purposes.
- Be able to safely lift up to 75 lbs.
- Be friendly, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations.
- Be confident discussing services and pricing.
- Be motivated by achieving sales goals.
- Be a strong listener who can identify customer needs.
- Be comfortable with physical, hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Meet customers and create a friendly first impression.
- Listen to customers’ needs and recommend an appropriate service.
- Provide on-site estimates and explain pricing clearly.
- Load and move items safely, including items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Keep the truck and work area clean and presentable.
- Represent 1-800-GOT-JUNK? with energy and professionalism.
