About The Position

As a Truck Team Member at 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, you’ll provide customer service while performing hands-on junk removal work. You’ll help customers remove unwanted items and sort materials for recycling, donation, or proper disposal. The work is physically active and offers varied daily tasks, opportunities to make a positive impact on customers, and a supportive team environment. The role offers full-time opportunities and requires availability for alternating weekend shifts. Pay is $17–$20 per hour, including base pay plus tips and bonuses. Requirements

Friendly, customer-focused attitude and a desire to help people.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.
Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment.
At least 21 years old for commercial insurance eligibility.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; a motor vehicle record check covering the past three years is required.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, attentive customer service and build rapport with customers.
Explain the service process and pricing, and ensure customers are comfortable and informed.
Help create a positive, stress-free customer experience.
Lift, carry, and load items safely and efficiently into the truck.
Sort items for recycling, donation, or proper disposal.
Clean job sites after completing work.
Keep the truck clean, organized, and ready for the next job.
Work with teammates to complete jobs efficiently and communicate and share tasks throughout the day.
